The Most Loathsome MJF Moments
Dumping Maria Manic
During MJF’s CZW days as a top heel, his on-screen girlfriend Maria tried publicly reconciling their relationship issues by gifting him a framed photo of MJF and herself. However, MJF smashed the picture, cited Maria’s weight gain, and even called her a whale — leading her to smack him across the cheeks before storming off in tears.
MJF’s CAP Goodbye
Speaking to the crowd on his last day at the Create a Pro Wrestler Academy, MJF praised his coaches, Curt Hawkins and Pat Buck, appreciated several of his fellow students, and even showed a CAP logo tattoo on his leg. Then he added, “I didn't mean a f****** word of that, f*** you,” and left the Academy with a smarmy grin.
Sending His Parents to Jail
While documenting MJF’s life, filmmaker Kenny Johnson found out about MJF’s “true” (kayfabe) backstory. MJF was kicked off his college football team and his school, and he even had his parents arrested when they forbade a young MJF from watching WrestleMania because he had crashed the family’s Lamborghini into a Taco Bell.
His Fyter Fest Promo
At Fyter Fest, before the fatal four-way match between Adam Page, Jimmy Havoc, MJF, and Jungle Boy, MJF attacked his three opponents, even referring to Page as “Seabiscuit.” He then attacked the crowd for their video game fandom and finished his rant by saying he too loved video games — until he lost his virginity.
Betraying Cody Rhodes
MJF’s faux-friendly demeanor towards his mentor Cody Rhodes came crashing down at AEW’s All Out 2019 when Rhodes faced Jericho for the AEW world title. When Y2K caught Rhodes in the Walls of Jericho, MJF threw in the towel and even consoled his mentor — only to hit him with a brutal low blow, completing his heel turn.
