The Rock Is No Longer The Most Dominant Member Of The Anoa'i Family
For years, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson has teased a blockbuster dream match against his real-life cousin, Roman Reigns, but he reportedly has turned down joining WrestleMania 39's main event. Without it, he'll never be the head of the table in the Anoa'i family, and backing out only bolsters his cousin's dominance.
Rock's status as a movie superstar and WWE legend gives him fame superiority, but when it comes to stats, Reigns is the undisputed king of the Anoa'i family. While Rock won more world championships, Reigns' title runs have been more meaningful — his current WWE Universal Championship reign is about 900 days, and Rock's longest run was 265 days.
The Rock was in WrestleMania's main event five times with a 1-4 record, while Reigns has main-evented WrestleMania six times — with another one on the horizon — and holds a 4-2 record. When it comes to pure dominance, the numbers support Reigns as the most successful member of the Anoa'i family.
