In 2013, Daniel Bryan quickly became a beloved favorite, but Triple H and Stephanie McMahon attempted to shut him down as WWE positioned him nowhere near the WrestleMania XXX main event. Fans didn't like this and began supporting Bryan more ferociously than ever, and he ended up toppling Randy Orton and Batista to win the Heavyweight title.

Stuck in mid-card purgatory after some career speedbumps, Kofi Kingston was sent hurtling back to stardom after joining The New Day with Xavier Woods and Big E. Kingston repeatedly proved himself worthy of the WWE title, which he won by defeating Daniel Bryan at Wrestlemania 35 with his children and teammates by his side.
Despite his best efforts, the "NXT" championship title constantly eluded Sami Zayn until 2014, when the title found itself around the waist of Zayn's good friend Adrian Neville. Zayn's fight for the title ended at "NXT" TakeOver: R-Evolution when he delivered a Helluva Kick to Neville and finally won the title.

Later that same night, Reigns ran out to help Dean Ambrose, and the crowd could not have been happier.
