At a WWE Live Event 2007, Mickie James won the Divas Championship in a triple threat match by pinning Victoria while the then-champion Melina was outside the ring.

James remained a champion for approximately an hour. Later that night, Melina demanded a rematch for the title, claiming she was never pinned down, and went on to defeat James.
After Miz and John Cena won a Tag Team Championship match against The Corre, Wade Barrett announced that The Corre wanted to invoke their rematch clause immediately.

With some intervention from Barrett, Slater managed to pin down Cena to regain the tag team championships for The Corre. Miz and Cena's title reign lasted just around 9 minutes.
In a 2003 episode of "RAW," Chris Jericho won the Intercontinental Championship against Rob Van Dam thanks to co-manager Eric Bischoff distracting the referee.
